MY STORY

ABOUT MYSELF

A healthcare innovator, Harshit Jain, MD has been driving health transformation across the globe, delivering life changing, creative and sustainable solutions since his days as a Healthcare Professional. An MD from Chicago’s Northwestern University, Harshit practiced Medicine for a few years, after which he decided to cut his teeth at big advertising agencies, including McCann, where he held a series of positions including Country Head, Marketing Director & Innovation Lead in Asia, Europe and America. In the 13+ years of his professional journey, Harshit has skillfully (and successfully) weaved together his medicine domain expertise and marketing acumen, to grace the world with some outside-the-box campaigns in the healthcare space. Making the best use of advertising media, Harshit has addressed some of the biggest health challenges over the course of his career– Immunization, Vitamin D deficiency, Diabetes, etc., by using data creatively and innovatively. For his pathbreaking work, he has been conferred with eminent industry awards and accolades.

An accomplished storyteller and an inspirational leader, Harshit played a key role in making India win the first ever Black Pencil – the highest honor at D&AD Awards through the Immunity Charm campaign, a brainchild of his.

Harshit kick-started his entrepreneurial journey in 2019, when he launched his own venture-Doceree. Recognized as the Elite 2020 Disrupter Award by premier global PM360 Magazine for his venture-Doceree, Harshit pledges to address the acute problem of rising cost of healthcare, by bringing efficiency and effectiveness in HCP communications.

Supporting the cause, Harshit shares his learnings and experiences of POC marketing in his latest book- ‘The Next Marketing’. An MBA form from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, Harshit has also published a textbook in medicine.

A JOURNEY OF MANY FIRSTS
  • 2002: Organized First ever 24-hour blood donation drive in India

  • 2003: Partnered to create first bone marrow donor registry in India

  • 2006: Published the very first textbook book on liposuction - Principles & Practice of Liposuction

  • 2011: Conceptualized first ever virtual world for nutrition community – Nutritionists Republic

  • 2017: Co-created Immunity Charm-most awarded campaign in the history of healthcare advertising. First global campaign that won 13 Lions at Cannes International Festival, including Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Good.

  • 2018: Created a campaign that got India’s first Black Pencil at D&AD Awards

  • 2019: Launched Doceree- the first global network of HCP-only platforms for programmatic messaging

  • 2022: Published the first book on Point-of-care Marketing - ‘The Next Marketing-To Healthcare Professionals
